Smoked Fish Rolls with Cheese Recipe
- 4 boneless zander fish fillets
- 200 g traditional Finnish cheese (kotijuusto)
- 1 package of mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 skinned garlic cloves
- rapeseed oil for frying
- salt and black pepper
- serve with boiled new potatoes
Dice onion and garlic and sauté them lightly in oil. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté a moment before adding salt and pepper to taste. Cut the cheese into slices.
Place the fish fillets on the work surface and remove the bones. Flavour the fillets with salt and pepper.
Spoon the mushroom-onion mix into the centre of the fillet and place a slice of cheese on top.
Roll the fish into a roll and place in the electric smoker or smoking pan. Smoke the fish rolls for approximately 15 minutes. Serve with boiled new potatoes.
