Smoked Honey Soy Prawn Recipe
Muurikka Electric Smokers
1/2kg uncooked prawns, shells on
1 clove crushed garlic
2 tablespoons white wine
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons grated (or minced) ginger
cracked black pepper
sprinkle of sea salt
Mix garlic, white wine, honey, soy sauce, ginger, black pepper and salt together in a bowl. Stir the prawns through, coating well, and marinate for ½ hour or so.
Prepare your Muurikka Electric Smoker. Remove prawns from the refrigerator and place them on the grill tray.
Pop the tray back into the Muurikka electric smoker and smoke for approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
Serve with rice and salad of your choice.
