Smoked Lamb Filled With Feta Cheese Recipe

People have always loved smoked meats because they’re simply so good.
- 4 lamb roasts
- 150 g feta cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 strips of bacon
- salt and black pepper
Crush feta cheese with a fork and mix in the chopped garlic and mint leaves. Make incisions in the lamb roasts and fill them with the flavoured cheese. Wrap the lamb in bacon and secure with a toothpick. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Fry or grill the lamb lightly to add colour and then place in the Muurikka Electric Smoker. Smoke for approximately 15 minutes. Wrap the roasts in foil and allow them to sit for about 10 minutes. Serve with couscous salad.
- 200 ml couscous
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 200 ml chicken broth
- 1 tbsp sliced olives
- 100 ml chopped cucumber and tomato
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped mint or parsley leaves
- salt and white pepper
Place the couscous in a bowl and mix in the olive oil. Bring the chicken stock to a boil and pour over the couscous. Cover with a lid or cling film and leave to soak for five minutes. Fluff the couscous with a fork and let cool. Add the remaining ingredients. Add salt and pepper to taste.
