Smoked Hot Pepper Prawns Recipe
in the Muurikka Electric Smoker
We normally use delicious fruit and nut wood chips like aok, alder, cherry and others for food smoking.
You can also add some fresh dill or other herbs to the wood chips to create delicious smokey flavours.

This Electric Smoker Recipe will allow you to cook hot smoked prawns while preserving the moisture and succulence of prawn meat.
Peel the prawns, leaving the tails intact, and devein.
Mix together the garlic, cumin, oregano, paprika, lemon zest and 1 tbsp olive oil.
Add the prawns and leave to marinate for 15 mins at room temperature
Prepare your Muurikka electric smoker by placing wood chips, sugar and sprinkled water on the bottom tray.
Place the prawns in the food smoker, turn it on and smoke for approximately 20 minutes.
Squeeze over some lemon juice and serve.
Note: You may wish to place the prawns on skewers before serving
