Electric Smoker Review Muurikka Products

MUURIKKA ELECTRIC SMOKER is SIMPLE, FAST, AND TASTY!

That’s the way I like my food. And that’s why I was so excited when the team from Muurikka Electric Smokers sent me their super cool Electric Smoker to test.

This thing is amazingly versatile, with the ability to smoke, roast and even grill.

It can cook a variety of meats, but instead of testing the electric smoker out on the clichéd smoked salmon, I thought I’d give it a real challenge and try to perfect my favourite meal – smoked pork ribs.

I loaded the electric smoker with a kilo of ribs, filled up the chip tray and left it for 45 minutes.

After what seemed like an eternity (to my stomach, at least) it was finally taste testing time and I am happy to report that the smoked pork ribs were nothing short of delicious.

But is such a smoking oven so practical?

The fact that the Muurikka Electric Smoker is electric means that you don’t have to worry about gas, and even without reading the instructions, I found it incredibly easy to setup and use.

You just plug the electric smoker in and start smokin’.

The only cririticsm I could possibly level at the Muurikka is the fact it has no temperature control, but the kit does include a comprehensive guide for COOKING TIMES with different weights of meat and vegetables.

The electric smoker is designed for simple, easy use. For example, 1 kg of fish should be cooked for 20 – 25 minutes, while 1 kg of pork should be cooked for 40 – 45 minutes in the smoker.

For boats with an electricity source, the Muurikka Electric Smoker will be a perfect addition to your next overnight fishing trip.

The kit also comes with its own cover, 2 free bags of wood chips and a recipe book from Scandinavian Chef, Henri Alen.
