I’ve spent a lot of time in Finland with my husband and his family over the last 12 years. I instantly fell in love with the flavor of smoked food, especially fish, and wanted to be able to enjoy the same flavors in Australia. I’ve been able to do that with the Muurikka Electric Smoker.
It's quick, it's easy and it's healthy - the end result is mouthwatering and delicious.
Being an Olympic Gold Medalist I am very focused on eating a healthy diet and nutrition is an important part of my training. The health benefits associated with the smoker are wonderful too (no fat cooking) and I find the ease of use comforting.
I started using the Muurikka smoker with fresh salmon. All l I had to do was just simply add the salmon, add the wood chips then sprinkle a little water on top of them, plug it in and let it work its magic…
The end result was smoked salmon with a divine colour, aroma and a mouthwatering taste.. I come from a pretty large family and have also used my Muurikka smoker to entertain family and friends without any hassle. Being a mum, wife, business owner and professional athlete I’m always looking for easy and healthy ways to entertain.
Other smoked meals have included kangaroo and deer filet. It also works really well with snapper and eels if you’re game!……
I’d also like to use it for roasting and grilling however I’m loving our smoked meals right now.
