Here are some tips and different methods to choose from.
When smoking larger pieces of meat, we recommend soaking your wood chips for 1/2 - 1 hour before placing them in the Muurikka Electric Smoker.
- If you're a meat lover and wish to smoke large pieces of meat, we recommend that you first place your produce in the electric smoker without the wood chips and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Just simply add the produce (without the wood chip tray) plug it in and turn it on.
- After that time insert the electric smoker wood chip tray and carry on with smoking for the remainder of the recommended cooking time
- By trying different cooking times, you will find the best results for different particular meats.

Our Electric Smoker is designed for easy use. The product and product weight determines how long we recommend you smoke the meat.
If you prefer a stronger smokey taste, add more wood chips to the wood chip tray.
If you prefer the "low and slow" method, you can cook the meat first in your home oven, using the low and slow method. For the last 25 minutes of cooking time, remove your meat from your oven and place in the Muurikka Electric Smoker, add the wood chips and then continue to smoke cook for the remaining time.
